VERMONES - How soon is now? EP [2011]

"How soon is now?" EP is the second work of Vermones - the youngest four-piece, new wave band from Poland.

They were initially known as The Potters and played their first show under this name in may 2009 and in the same month released small debut compilation of songs ("How are things at home?" EP) taken from primary state of playing together. However, upon writing songs in absolutely different convention, after experiments with sound that became more surprising, expressive and synthetic, they realised the name didn't suit the actual project, especially that the way of constructing musical dialogue collectively with different style of expressing emotions through lyrics, changed unequivocally. Under new name musicians released "Synthetic love symmetry" EP in may 2010, including eight compositions and showed some tentative progression in sound that they worked out. The right direction of band's music development seems to be officially comfirmed on "How soon is now?" EP with four brand new tracks filled up with fresh, expressive and interesting sound - already available for listening and free download!

Początkowo znani jako The Potters, pierwszy koncert pod tą nazwą zagrali w maju 2009r., w tym samym miesiącu wydali również niewielką kompilację utworów ("How are things at home?" EP) zaczerpniętych z początkowego stadium współpracy. Jednak w miarę pisania piosenek w kompletnie odmiennej konwencji, po eksperymentach z brzmieniem, które stało się bardziej zaskakujące i syntetyczne, muzycy zdecydowali, że nazwa nie pasuje do bieżącego wizerunku zespołu, w gruncie rzeczy dlatego, że sposób konstruowania muzycznego dialogu wspólnie ze stylem wyrażania emocji poprzez słowa niewątpliwie uległy zmianie. Pod nową nazwą muzycy wydali w maju 2010r. "Synthetic love symmetry" EP zawierające osiem kompozycji i ukazali nieśmiały postęp w kwestii brzmienia, które wypracowali. Właściwy kierunek w rozwoju zespołu wydaje się oficjalnie potwierdzony na "How soon is now?" EP, na którym znajdują się cztery zupełnie nowe utwory wypełnione świeżym, ekspresywnym i interesującym brzmieniem – już dostępne do odsłuchu i darmowego pobierania!
